The 10/22 stocks feel more solid to me than the Marlin, but you can buy a replacement stock from Boyds for the Marlin and still be in it for less than the 10/22.
They are fantastic guns all around, but in my humble opinion, the Marlin model 60 would definitely have the edge as far as accuracy goes. The Marlin 60 has it all over the 10/22, hands down.
Levers being slower to reload are still a hoot to shoot. I would feel confident in putting any one of mine up against ANY bolt action Savage .22, and one of them up against an Anshutz. Both the Ruger 10/22 & the Marlin Model 60 have been around for about 50 years or so.
