So its been released on the PS4 and is a PS4 exclusive for a year. It turns out (at least) some mods could be gotten to work on the portable system's version of FF7.
There are mods for the Final Fantasy 7 PC version that take it from arguably the worst version of the game to the best way to play while you’re waiting for the remake.
