Be on the lookout while in the Keys to spot native animals and critters. On the drive, pass over 42 bridges, including Seven Mile Bridge, and 34 islands as you travel the Overseas Highway.
Tiny deer, rabbits named after Hugh Hefner and eye-catching butterflies all make the diverse ecosystems of Key West home. It’s a beautiful paddle, but I’d wait a couple of months and allow yourself to work up to it.
