Initially widening its gape reluctantly, it did so without persuasion as it was hungry. Javan Myna 21-25 cm; 100 g. A typical blackish myna with prominent frontal crest and elongated crown feathers. The Javan myna is predominantly black, with a white vent, a white wing patch, white on the underside of the tail, and has a thick yellow eye ring, legs and beak.
